TEACHING MYSELF TO KNIT

I hope to have photos soon, i am teaching myself to knit, it is going very slow but i think i am going to get it. I am working on an easy dishtowel and i know how to cast on, knit stitch and increase stitch. I have wanted to learn how to do this for a long time, but i am not cordinated to hold both needles, so i learned to crochet instead. I did complete a tiny dish cloth and I must say i do believe the knit stitch is much softer than the crochet stitching.

Sorry i havent commented lately on many blogs, Turtle was here visiting and we had a blast, i will be back to bloggin soon.

Oh . . . I'm so proud of you!! I've gone back and forth from crochet to knit, and I really, really love the result of knitting much better!! Can't wait to see what you're working on!

You're going to enjoy knitting! There really aren't very many stitches. I think casting on and getting the first couple of rows on is the hardest part.
