SEWING AND QUILTING

This is a window topper i made out of some scrap material i found in the bargain bin.
my quilt is almost done, i just have to finish putting the binding on, i plan to hand sew it on the back, so who knows when that will get done, i am not much on sewing by hand.

i am very happy with the way it has turned out, of course it is not perfect, but not too bad for the first one. i used the pattern "life is like a box of chocolates" sweet Jane pattern. i love this pattern easy for me as a beginner.
I have been busy lately, got the walls in the bathroom painted, now this weekend i will start on the bedroom, then after that i plan to paint my cabinets in the bathroom black and frame my large ugly mirror, i can't wait to see how it turns out and of course i will share. If i ruin the cabinets darn i guess we will have to get new ones, right?
I just booked another flight to go see my kids in Virginia for early January, Southwest has a great special going on so i got a great deal, so excited to see my babies again!

I love that quilt!!

It would look cute hanging on your christmas card holder thing. You know what I am talking about?

I am thinking that I will get a hanging quilt rack. Shall I submit my fabric request now? :)

I'm always so surprised at how soothing I find sewing on binding by hand. I like to curl up in a comfy chair or in bed and do it.
